The Monster I Have Become

The caterpillar was always stepped on, beaten, and taken advantage of. Until it started speaking up for itself, letting its personality come out, coming out of its shell, voicing its pains, and just not taking the constant abuse anymore. Now these abusive, ignorant creatures start seeing the caterpillar as a monster. And no one likes it anymore, except for the monsters with the same story, the same scars.

It's a shame my day was rancid enough to spawn this. I actually drew this out of anger. And hours after I finally got a hold of my nerves, I looked at it again and saw some meaning to it.

Just in time for Halloween, eh?
